Who We Are

State Street Discount was established in Portsmouth, NH in 1955 by Robert and Irene ("Renee") Levy as a small gift store. They sold small appliances and electronics, such as radios, toasters, coffee makers, and gift items. For 70 years, we've had competitors come and go, as well as economic ups and downs. But despite that, we continue to serve our customers while bringing you the best products at the most competitive prices.

We carry everything from the reliable basics to top of the line luxury products. Our Kitchen Appliance Showroom lets you explore some of the largest and most exciting displays you will find anywhere! Our Audio/Video rooms allow you to imagine what some of the best new Home Theater systems can look and sound like in your home.
