have the refrigerator for three months now. pros- everything works,the deli draw is plenty big enough(that is one reason i bought it),ice maker works well, plenty of room in the freezer. cons- biggest issue is the thermostat for me. the recommended setting is to warm and the next setting (max) will freeze foods like vegetable on the bottom shelf.needs one more setting in between the two. the fruit and vegetable draws should be larger, does not seem to freeze though. and for the location of the thermostat up front (like almost all other brands) it takes up to much space. noise has not been an issue it will make a high pitch sound when the compressor kicks on but nothing major.would like a few more shelf location options. over all its been a descent frig. so far

Limited space so this fits perfectly in our kitchen, but is more spacious than our last refrigerator and love the way the compartments and freezer are set up.. It's also quiet. Our last fridge was noisy without an icemaker that it thought was connected. It was recommended by the sales associate as well as the delivery crew. So glad I took sales associates' advice to purchase this product. And, another plus is the space underneath which makes for easy cleaning. A friend of mine has the same product I had before with the same complaints I had, noisy and poorly made. Shelves and racks tended to crack easily. I recommended the Maytag when she's ready to purchase a new one.

This item came with a condo I just bought in March. 2017 unit. About 3 wks ago, the fridge started freezing food - wasted eggs, milk, fruit and sparkling water that exploded in the garbage. I had it serviced this past week - they tried replacing the thermistor and same issues a couple days later. Today I was told that the compressor is out. There was not frost on the evaporator panel in the freezer and the tubing had a giant block of ice built up. 2 yr old unit? Dont bother!

When my old refrigerator quit, I purchased another one and there were problems so I did research and decided on this Maytag refrigerator. I am glad I did. Features I really like: a light in the freezer, full (across the entire fridge) deli tray and two crispers that have rollers and are really easy to pull out and return. This refrigerator is slightly smaller than my old one (I have limited space) but there seems to be ample room for all my needs. I can have my milk on the top shelf rather than the door which is not recommended. I also like the amount of shelves in the door and the arrangement so you can put something tall on the bottom shelf. Glad I chose Maytag again!

It is a great size outside and in.
Light is bright for fridge and freezer. Temp is adjustable. Side shelves are good. Cleaning is easy. Handles don't stick out, easy to grip.
Only drawbacks are that the tallest shelf inside is on the bottom shelf so you have to lean down to get the milk. It would be nice to have the top shelf move. And the doors cannot be switched/sling to open from other side due to it not sealing if changed.

Bought this fridge a few weeks ago. I am very happy that it keeps ice cream and refridgerated food at the right temp without having to adjust the controls. The Maytag logo on the door is an adhesive-backed plastic plate poorly slapped on. Not aligned. Crooked and poorly applied. Looks like the factory worker on the assembly line was drunk or disgruntled. If Maytag puts this little effort into the appearance of their brand, imagine how shoddy the rest of the product is.

He said everything looks great and said this fridge is not as insulated as a more expensive models. So I guess I will live with the noise. Other than that it is great

I had purchased an apartment unit which had a Maytag refrigerator in it. After my experience I will never touch another Maytag product ever again. It worked fine no complaints for a year(was built in 2017), however yesterday I started to notice a nail polish chemical smell. After some investigation I realized it came from the back of the refrigerator. Doing some research I quickly realized the alarming event that my fridge was leaking Freon. The constant chemical smell/light headedness has made my apartment unbearable to be in. At this point I want the refrigerator out of my unit, very sad Maytag!

Very small, shelves are not adjustable, freezes items well, freezes vegetables and fruits if put in the back of shelf. Very small drawers cheaply made, sharp edge on drawers that will cut your hand if not careful. Egg department is great, meat drawer is great, keeps milk ice cold. No humidity control. Show finger print smudges on both doors and freezer door. Runs quietly. After opening the doors and closing them you hear a water running inside which may be the drain pan or maybe not.

Very spacious great brand name however there's no happy medium for temperature settings. I have tried all of them and either freezes my stuff in the refrigerator in the back or it's teeters borderline temp warning on our calibrated thermometer we placed inside.

In July I bought this refrigerator and I'm very pleased with the visibility and accessibility of food items. I particularly like the lighting in the freezer. At delivery, the refrigerator had a buzzing sound, and after a visit from the Maytag repairman, my refrigerator is now very quiet. I've also seen a slight decrease in my electric bill which I attribute to replacing a 22+ year old refrigerator with this one.

I bought this refrigerator to replace an old Kenmore. The Maytag name has always meant very good quality in my memory. I am surprised at how much noise the frig makes when the compressor is running. It's louder than the Kenmore it is replacing. I was expecting that newer technology would have them running very quiet. Not so.

I bought this 2 months ago and it was delivered a little under a month ago. Super bright LED lights in both the freezer and fridge, runs quietly. What I don't like, however, is that you cannot move the donor's bins to different heights like I could with my old Kenmore. The inner glass shelves, only 1 can be moved and it only allows an extra 1.5 in in height. I bought this fridge because of its reviews and the 10 yr warranty on the compressor, that other manufacturers didn't offer.
