We bought a new storage shed so we could stop paying $85 p/mo. for a 5x10 climate controlled unit. We now have a 10x12 unit right outside our back door and the 5200BTU unit does the trick perfectly.

I like the look of the window ac unit I got, way more sleek than some of the other ones I've seen. I also like the features provided, especially the eco mode, so I dont have to turn it off manually. It also came with all the necessary bits and pieces needed to install the unit, which made the installation process that much easier.

This was my first window AC unit and I couldn™™t be happier with my purchase. The unit is quiet, cools down my bedroom quickly and the multiple settings allow for different levels of cool. The unit is also very sleek looking and install was simple.

I bought 2 of these last year to replace old a/c units for both my children's rooms. One of the units has worked significantly better than the other from the beginning. Both rooms are the same size, so there is no difference in space to cool. My daughter's room has been smelly worse and worse over the last couple months, and the unit does not cool the room efficiently. The air coming out of the unit smells musty. Both rooms have air purifiers also purchased at the same time. She has to run her air purifier constantly and has to change the filter on it weekly. Her asthma relapsed and besides daily inhalers, she has to use her rescue you one a couple times a day. With her having school remotely, she is stuck in her room with poor air quality due to a poorly made a/c. She suffers daily. Buyer beware, this unit is not worth the price for what it will cost your health in the long run. I will not buy another Frigidaire product in the future.

I was pleasantly surprised at how nice and quiet this unit is. Love how quickly the unit cools the room and it was easy to install (even though we paid for the unit to be installed). All in all, great a/c for the price!

I bought this ac about two months ago because I had such a great experience with my last Frigidaire ac. That ac was a 5000 btu unit that lasdted 12 years. Actually I could still use it, but it doesn't cool as well as it once did. On the hottest days that ac could cool a room. Sadly the unit I just bought already acts like it is 12 years old. I wish I could say something nice, but it has just been a big disappointment. If I had the money, I would buy a new unit. Probably not a Frigidaire.

I bought this unit online. When it arrived and I installed it, I thought that it was not running properly as I could not hear it operating. To my surprise, the unit is extremely quiet and runs very efficiently. It cools the room and I run a fan to help cool the hallway.

This did not cool my room off at all. It only blows cold air from one side. I tried to call the number for support, but due to corona virus no one was available to take my call. It runs very quiet though. I moved it to my son's room which is smaller. It does ok for a tiny room. I still think there is something wrong with it, but I can't get any help.

I bought this unit to replace one that was interfering with my sleep, especially when the compressor turned on. The Frigidaire is quieter during normal running, but I especially appreciate that I can hardly hear the difference when the compressor turns on. It easily cools my 150 sq foot bedroom.

I bought 2 of these units less than 3 months ago and it's been this GURGLING noise every time it rains & hits the AC. I've NEVER had this problem before and when I contacted PC Richards, they just breezily said "just bring it back for an exchange." I have 2 of these and both do that. Unless they're both lemon, I'm not going to spend money again on TaskRabbit to uninstall (which I paid them to do), hire movers to get them transported to back to PC Richards, and then bring back new ones, and then spend money again to install. What is going on? I called 800-944-9044 for answers since PC Richards isn't giving me any but just like any other big companies, it never got picked up except by an automated voice service. Shameful, Frigidaire. I just need answers. Will not be buying your name brand again in the future.

This not only cools my office down fast, but I've used it to cool my entire downstairs. Really powerful. The remote is great. The reason for 4 not 5 stars is there is a weird chemical smell that permeates the house when I use it. I thought it was just "new plastic" smell, but it hasn't gone away after weeks of use.

I bought this AC for my daughter's 96 sq ft playhouse that she converted in to a music studio. The unit works great, cools so well that she finds herself turning it off as she gets too cold, quite a compliment in a humid Atlanta climate. It was relatively easy to install in spite of the small print in the instructions. It would've helped if I better understood that the fan fold blinds that fill the window space on the sides of the AC need to first be thread through a slot on the AC to secure it. Also, there was no mention about the drain plug, which ships covered by a plug with 2 screws, I guess given they say removing it is an option, which I elected to do.

I™™ve had this AC for a few months now and I™™m pleased. My frustration comes in two areas. First is with the remote. If I™™m standing at the unit and I press the power on, once I try to turn it off with the remote I need to press the power button twice. My second issue is with the auto option on the unit itself. it doesn™™t seem to read the room temp properly. If I have it set to 72 the AC should not turn off until the room reaches that temperature. There are times when it stops blowing air and I know the room is not at the desired temp. The remote will read 77 degrees but the AC is set to 72 and will stop. The previous AC I was using set the room at 72 degrees and the room was much cooler. I we have two of these units and both are doing the same thing with the remote and room temps.

Good AC unit worked well out of the box, easy to install. Remote worked maybe three times and stopped working. Changed batteries worked a couple of time and stopped.
