I have only had the freezer for a couple of weeks. It seems to be of good quality and working fine so far. I like the green light that shines on the floor to let you know the appliance is working correctly. This a bonus and provides peace of mind. Hoping this Frigidaire lasts as long as the last one.

When shopping a primary item I wanted was an indication that the power to the freezer is on. We have the freezer in our barn tack room and when walking by it is nice to know things are powered on. After receiving the product I was surprised to find the side walls get rid of waste heat. Need some clearance on the sides but should keep the unit working more efficiently in a dusty environment.

I had a specific space to work with after my old freezer died. This freezer fit the bill but was taller than my old one (tall didn™€™t matter). It™€™s extremely roomy on the inside with ample storage for in the door. There is no handle but I was fine with that. We will know more in 10-15 years! So far it™€™s doing a stellar job.

It works great. The sides get really warm, almost too hot to touch when it is first plugged in. However, that is normal when it is trying to cool down. After it cools down, the sides are no longer hot.

It was a little deceiving to say the door can be changed. it can but the procedure was not for the faint of heart. No mention is made about the cooling of the refrigerant is in the sides of the freezer which gets quite warm from convection cooling.
