Priced at $1199 it’s one of the more reasonable high-end 42” LCD televisions on the market, with a host of great features. A beautiful smooth picture with great sound and a lot of versatility to give you the maximum value for your entertainment investment.

The picture on this television is stunning, with Toshiba’s ClearFrame™ 120HZ Anti-Blur Technology providing a smooth crystal clear image and eliminating motion blur. This obviously works well during sporting events or action movie scenes, as many other similar sets struggle to keep up. What this does is double the displayed frame rate to 120 frames per second, or 120Hz, using Motion Vector Frame technology which creates new frames and inserts them between the original frames.

If you’re not on a high definition signal, the television also employs Super Resolution Technology (SRT™) which upconverts and enhances 480i, 480p and 720p input signals for a more detailed picture. This now makes your DVD’s and television channels clearer, and displays them in near high definition quality.

The input panel also provides a fair amount of versatility. The television has four HDMI inputs, along with two component inputs and a PC Input. It also has a digital audio output, allowing you to connect it directly to your receiver in the event you’re not using a cable box and are using the tuner within the television to watch your digital channels. The menu interface is clean and easy to navigate, with a very intuitive remote control that can also be used to run other devices.
